Club Taree
Building Stronger Communities through Sport
Club Taree has long recognised the importance of sport, and in particular junior sport in Taree and the Manning Valley. Management and the Board of Club Taree made a decision three years ago to further embrace junior sport, to encourage participation, connectivity and build the sense of community that it garners. What was also important to Club Taree was that the support of junior sport went far beyond a cheque giving exercise. They wanted a hands-on approach, offering unique support opportunities that would assist in building stronger teams, stronger associations and stronger programs, which in turn would build participation. At the time, Club Taree was the major sponsor of three sporting organisations - Taree Touch Association, Manning Valley Netball Association and Taree Juniors Panthers Rugby League. Over the last three years, to the present day, they have built partnerships with other sporting bodies to cement Club Taree as the largest supporter of junior sport in the Manning Valley. A title the Club is proud to uphold.

Club York
Bringing Back the Dirty Reds!
The Glebe Dirty Reds were formed on January 9, 1908 and proved to be one of the most successful clubs in the game’s early years. Despite the Glebe Dirty Reds having the fifth best winning percentage in the history of the game, Glebe was axed from the premiership at the end of the 1929 season. After an 87-year hiatus, the Dirty Reds were revived in late 2015, and in 2017 the Club made its long-awaited return to the playing field. In 2023, Glebe made their return to playing home games permanently at Wentworth Oval for the first time since 1929. Last year also saw the unveiling of the Club York scoreboard at the home ground. Club York has been the major sponsor of the Glebe Dirty Reds over the last seven years since Glebe came back into the competition. The Club’s partnership goes beyond the field to the Club premises which the team endeavours to attend after home games to celebrate or commiserate. The Glebe Dirty Reds are now very much considered a part of the Club York family. This year, as with last year, the Club committed $6000 through the ClubGRANTS scheme and an additional $43,000 each year in sponsorship. To date Club York has financially supported the Glebe Dirty Reds with sponsorships and grants of $344,000 since 2017.
